Varicose Vein Treatment & Thread Vein Treatment
Varicose vein surgery, sclerotherapy and Veinwave™ services
are delivered by a Consultant who will determine the treatment
plan following initial consultation:
Varicose vein surgery
Surgical and non-surgical treatments are available to treat this
condition. Dependent on the severity of varicose vein, the surgical
method usually involves a procedure to strip the non-functional
vein from the affected area.
Sclerotherapy
A procedure in which a fine needle is used to inject a
small amount of solution directly into the thread vein. The
solution displaces the blood within the vein, making it blanch or
turn white, and prevents blood from re-entering the vein.
Veinwave
As a recognised Dr Newman Clinic the Cobalt Treatment Centre is
now offering Veinwave™ for the treatment of leg,
facial and nose veins.
Thermocoagulation, or Veinwave™ as it is
commonly known, has immediate and effective results. A consultation
is necessary before treatment to determine how many treatments are
required.
